I’m married to my high school sweetheart, a busy mom of five, and the goat-milking, soap-making girl behind Feakin Homestead here in Scappoose, Oregon. 🐐🤍

About 11 years ago, I started what I lovingly call my “semi-crunchy” journey. I began using essential oils, reading ingredient labels, and paying a little more attention to what I was feeding my family and what we were putting on our bodies. Not perfectly crunchy… just crunchy enough to care. 😂

Then, three years ago, dairy goats entered the picture and I absolutely fell in love.

Raising my goats quickly became one of my favorite parts of homestead life, and eventually I had an idea: What if I combined my love of essential oils and homemade products with fresh goat milk?

So, naturally, I started making soap.

And then I made a LOT of soap. 😂

I started sharing it with family and friends, they started sharing it with others, and before I knew it, my little homestead hobby had turned into something so much bigger.

Today, every bar of Feakin Homestead goat milk soap is made with ingredients I feel good about. Goat milk naturally helps nourish and moisturize the skin, and I pair it with thoughtfully chosen ingredients like olive oil, essential oils, and other skin-loving goodness.

Because I believe caring about what goes on your body matters just as much as caring about what goes in it.

And one of my favorite parts? The milk doesn't come from some mystery supplier.
